(More customer reviews)I've had the camera now for about a month, and i think it's a very good camera.I love the panoramic view, and I haven't had any issues with it yet.Video recording in HD is great and the picture is amazing when you consider it's a compact camera, not a camcorder (I think it may have better picture than my non-HD camcorder).I've read many reviews about hearing the zoom while recording.I have not experienced it.
The only negative (if you can call it that) has been the flash.It's so strong that it overpowers the picture sometimes, but overall I've learned to deal with it.
The camera has been as advertised so far.If this review was about the camera alone, it would have gotten the 5 stars, but it did come with accessories.
The accessory kit consists of the spare battery (I was disappointed to find out it was not a Sony battery, but a generic replacement), a carrying case, 8GB memory card, little desktop tripod (haven't used it yet), screen protector sheets (kind of a pain to have to cut them to the right size) and memory card "wallet".
I thought the case would have been a great thing to have, but the case that came with the camera as part of the kit is useless.It is way too small for the camera.I can barely fit the camera into the case, and even with nothing else in the case it is so tight that it peels the screen protector off the camera after a few times it goes into the case.Kind of defeats the purpose of having screen protectors.One other thing about the case.It has a pocket for a spare battery/memory card, but if anything is in the pocket the camera doesn't fit into the case.Very disappointing.
Overall, the camera has been great, but I was expecting a lot more from the rest of the purchase.
