I am an avid gardener and wanted to photograph my favorites year round and in any light. So far I am pleased with the results and am pretty proud of myself. Looking forward to learning more and having fun with photo shop. This is the perfect camera for me and the price was exactly what I wanted to spend. I actually got more camera than I thought I would for the price. I did the research before I bought but it was the magazine "The Week" review that drove the final nail. No regrets here.
