(More customer reviews)Camera and kit are ok except for the Replacement battery you get in the kit.Sony camera's detect non Sony batteries and will not let them run in the camera even though they meet the specifications.You get Sony K type Sony battery with the camera and it works fine.
This is Sony's doing.The replacement battery that did not work with the Sony camera was a GT Max Battery Pack For NP-BK1 3.7V Li-ion.The battery will turn on the camera and display the message "for use with compatible battery only" and then shut down.
I have not had sufficient time with the camera to comment but with my brief try it works great.
