(More customer reviews)This camera is rated as waterproof to about 10 feet, as I recall.I don't plan to swim with it to take underwater pictures, however I hunt and fish and like to have a camera with me. There is always the risk of falling in or getting drenched by rain. Fortunately I haven't had either problem yet, but the camera takes very good pictures with lots of options to shoot including a movie option.It appears to be well sealed from water and I would not expect this one to have a problem with an occasional dousing.I researched several other makes and this one looked like the best option.It's new so there were not many reviews when I purchased. I would recommend that you purchase a spare battery as you have to remove the battery from the camera to charge it.I would also suggest a micro SD card as the internal memory won't hole many pictures at 10-12 MP's.
