(More customer reviews)Camcorder met all my expectations and more. Great picture quality. Easy to operate. Also, love the still photos as well. Basic operation was a dream. But I found that all of the advanced features were also easy enough to ,ake some great shots.

All of the items in KIT were great. Didn't have to go buy extra items to start enjoying the camcorder. I like having the storage card so I can just taken it along and view in various equipment.

Took the camcorder on our first cruise, so having the recorderings will mean so much to us as time goes on.

The Samsung's SMX-F43 Digital Memory Camcorder (Black) is an entry-level standard def camera with a 8GB internal flash memory and the option to shoot to SD/SDHC/MMC cards. The Internal memory stores up to 8 hours of H.264 SD files, while the optional flash media allows for even more file storage. In addition to 720 x 480 video, the F44 also captures 1600 x 1200 still images. The camera is aided by a 1/6" CCD image sensor, a Schneider Kreuznach lens, 52x optical and 65x Intelligent Zoom, and a 2.7" LCD display. Other helpful features include Face Detection, Time Lapse Recording, and Animated Thumbnails, to name a few.
