(More customer reviews)I have bought several camera bags over the years - most from Tamrac. Like everything Tamrac, this bag is VERY well constructed out of the highest quality materials. The layout is spacious, easily fitting two DSLRs with battery packs and large zoom lenses fact to face. I also get two large Speedlite flash units, four additional lenses, hoods, chargers, batteries, AC adapter, filters, and lots of other photo paraphernalia in the Super Pro 13 with room to spare. When I bought this case I also purchased several additional Tamrac accessory cases. My advice would be to buy a couple of Tamrac S.A.S. Compact Filter Cases and hold off on the other stuff until you find out what won't fit in the compartments that come standard with this case.

When loaded with my gear this bag tips the scales at 47 pounds. I'm NOT planning on using this bag for air travel. With bulging with full pockets, gear, and a laptop it is TOO BIG to be considered a carry-on unless you run into a kind gate agent. Don't bet on it though, since there is NO provision to lock anything, so security, if checked, will be a problem. I travel a lot by car and RV and plan to use this bag on the road, so it will get a good deal of wear and tear. It's great in the trunk of a car.

I depend on this bag every day to protect some very expensive gear. I could spend two or three times what this bag costs and not get equal quality. I have NEVER had a piece of equipment damaged in any way when stored in a Tamrac bag. I consider the cost good insurance.

NOTE: The bag does NOT have a "pocket" in the back that could be slipped over a wheeled carryall. <- Hey, Tamrac! This is an easy improvement.

The Super Pro 13 is the ideal carrying solution for the mobile photographer with a full complement of digital SLRs, multiple lenses, accessories and a laptop. It features Tamrac's patented Double Lens-Bridge Divider System that cradles the cameras with lenses attached, ready for action. A special foam-padded rear pocket protects a laptop with up to a 15" screen. The Total Coverage Top offers triple protection against the elements with Velcro closures for quick access, Easy Squeeze quick-release buckles for security and a zipper closure for the ultimate in weather protection. Two Slide Pockets have the patented Memory and Battery Management System for quick access to memory cards and batteries. This system uses red flags to identify available memory cards and batteries from ones that are used up. A Pop-Off pocket inside the top stores small accessories. Two ZipDrop pockets in front feature internal paraphernalia pockets and an internal zippered mesh accessory pocket. The front flap has a weather-protected Speed Pocket that allows filters and other accessories to be quickly accessed without opening the bag.
