Update: I found another power supply and it works.Remains to be seen whether the seller (Adorama) will give me a replacement power supply.
Anyway, CAUTION!!!When I connected to my computer using the USB interface my virus scanner flagged something called "recycled.exe" on the internal memory, and deleted it.
So now that I got it working I will say it looks beautiful.The controls are nothing short of baffling and the documentation non-existant but I've used similar products and I hope to be able to figure it out eventually.So far I have figured out how to start the slide show manually and select the visual effect when changing photos.There appears to be some sort of timed slide show - I hope this means it will auto start and then power down - but I don't know yet.
A lot of potential here but the usual rough edges on these foreign made units.
Follow up: Jobo customer service does not answer the phone, return phone messages, or answer email.The slide show turns on automatically but it never shuts off.No satisfaction with the DOA power supply.I'll be avoiding anything with the name "Jobo" on it in the future.
