(More customer reviews)Other than the weight I found this tripod more sturdy than any tripod I have used either intended for heavy video camera or my telephoto zoom lens, although I like carbon fiber types, they can not carry heavy weight. This is my workhorse, wind and vibration doesn't affect much of the image quality, the metal spikes are useful on wet soil for added stability. Almost 6ft in height when fully extended, at $260+ people who've seen me using it are saying it could have been worth $400+. I bring this tripod using a baseball bat bag fastened in my back while riding my road bike via minuteman bike path for about 10 miles from Watertown to Bedford, MA for the whole day picture taking.
