(More customer reviews)I purchased this cutter to trim large photos before taking them to my dry-mount press.This is a very precise trimmer.I can literally shave what seems like a hundreth of an inch off of an edge.There is no comparison with my knife trimmer (you know... the old guillotine type trimmer)I only wished I got the 36" instead of the 24"This trimmer is designed to cut only in 1 direction because of a metal guard but that is an easy change.Once you look at how the rotary blade works you can see how to modify that.I choose to keep it factory.
