(More customer reviews)I bought this for travel photography, where I didn't want to lug around a tripod. I just used this on a trip to Wales, where we did a lot of walking along the coast, visited churches and castles etc. It worked out really well, since it also doubled as a walking stick and was really quick to set up.The monopod is really light, and the lock system is really easier to operate since you can unlock or lock all sections at once. The height is pretty good too - with a head on there, it should be fine for anyone of average height (I'm 6 feet tall). My only (minor) issue is that the mounting collar seems to come loose a little too easily.
