(More customer reviews)purchased 3 of the HG series binoculars; review the birder's forums and the Hunting forums for the details; the "value" is definitely in this binocular.Whites are WHITE and the colors are accurate. The HG bins from Minox were so impressive to my eye that I bought three pairs: 8.5X43, 10X43, 8X33 and I have no remorse, especially when compare the price point to the top 2 traditionally great bins. fixed the star rating, thanks for pointing that out.
