(More customer reviews)I bought this tripod to replace one over 25 years old. Boy, the carbon fiber technology really makes a difference. I have no worries about being able to carry this tripod lashed to my backpack for a day's hiking. Easy setup and takedown make it a new fave for me. One thing to note though, it only comes with the standard tripod screw, so if you're wanting to add a custom ballhead like I did, you'll need to buy a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter ($2 from a local camera store). Highly recommended.
