(More customer reviews)I have a DCR-HC36 camcorder with the NP-FP71 battery that fits nicely inside the Sports Pack.The features are nice.Most camera housings have mechanical levers / buttons that actuate the buttons on the camera.Sony topped this by making everything electronic.The Sports Pack has a line that plugs into the AV/OUT jack that controls the basic camcorder functions.Don't get your hopes up though, anything that is on the touch screen is not accessible once your camcorder is inside the Sports Pack, so plan accordingly.

Would give it 5 stars if it had a better weighting system and a better depth limit.The pack is very positively bouyant to the point you are wrestling it around in the water.Found with 3 lbs of weight you can get it ever so slightly on the positive side of neutrally bouyant so it isn't such a pain in the water.You can buy a 3 lb dive weight (ie, the flexible lead shot in a net mesh is the best) to overcome this!

I've had it down to 55 ft without any problems.A previous post mentioned they had tried down to 35 ft.It is a fairly sturdy case, however I don't know how far beyond these limits I would push it, especially as your O-ring ages.

Overall, for the money, it is hard to beat.If you are just wanting a basic case for snorkeling or basic open water diving, this one works fine!
