(More customer reviews)The fit and finish of this tripod are excellent.Neoprene handles on each of the legs make it comfortable and easy to carry.The leg locks are flip-locks and the legs have markers to assure even extension in all three legs. Widening the leg base is easy and intuitive.The extension arm in the center column is removable -- further cutting down on the weight.The panhead is removable, allowing you to substitute your favorite ballhead.I like using the panhead because you can secure heavy items and movement is minimal.My only nit-pick is that I wish it came with a bubble level.
Overall the tripod is light and strudy.It has a weight limit or 25 lbs, so it should be able to handle the larger lenses.Near perfect for use in the field.It comes with a carrying case and rock bag.I strongly recommend this tripod to anyone who wants an excellent carbon fiber tripod without breaking the bank.
