After searching for options, I finally decided for the Fujinon 10x70 FMT-SX and are not disapointed. These are top-quality, outdoing any regular, department store telescope in sky night viewing quality, while providing army-grade endurance and water proofing for maritime use.
The quality of the lenses is superb and is the high-end of the line for Fujinon (which is undoubtedly one of the top three companies related to optic products). The size is very manageable and they are solidly built.
