I am professional video engineer and as such I must say that AAXA have built an amazing piece of hardware. But that's not what impresses me the most.
Before I bought it I read all reviews carefully. All Pros vs. Cons. Well - now as I have it - I'd agree with most of them, but let me comment in a different way.
*
First - my general notes:
1.The projector is small enough to be really ultra-portable. Yes, you can't put it into your shirt's pocket, but why you'll need that for? For today's technologies this unit has the best possible ratio for size/thermal dissipation/light output. Smaller projector will sacrifice noise level (as P2 does), bigger will put it out of the "ultra" category.
2.The projector has just enough features for the usage it's intended for. It does have full-function remote, it does have basic, but well featured media player with basic functionality, does offer keystone correction. Again - if you need full 1080p with HDMI - pay extra money and extra size and weight and you'll get it. But for the small unit like this it has all you need.
3.The projector s LED, which means practically unlimited lifespan. Yes, you can watch 2 hours per day everyday for more than 20 years. Also - it means practically indestructible (no bulb). I had projectors for 10 years and always have paid attention on the usage and the handling.
4.The projector cost vastly less (30% at least less) than the corresponding full size projector.
5.The projector is bright enough not only for such a small unit, but compared to full size projector. Actually - compared side-by-side to full sized 1100lm projector with half-used bulb (bulb decreases it's light output over time) - AAXA M1 performs exactly the same.

But the most important part is WHERE and HOW you'll use this toy.
Usage - today's world offers all the gadgets and toys for less money. But as we can't have them all (not only because of the budget) - we have to consider what exactly we want to use a toy for.
*
And here is where the versatility of AAXA M1+ shines the most - I'll put just a few examples of where I am using it/will use it:
1.As a bedroom TV - finally you can get rid of the bulky CRT and project 40"-50" image at evenings directly on the wall, no noise, no need of stand and space.
2.Having a party - just project videos instead of regular MP3's and you'll have full featured entertainment. Or use standard Visualizations form laptops' Media Player to project on the floor or the ceiling - yo, DJ#1... ;-)
3.Beautiful and calm Backyard Movie Night or old fashioned Drive-In on your driveway
4.Showing photos to your friends - the projector is smaller than ANY photo frame, right?
5.Having portable display for outdoor - perfect for using it in a cottage, RV, trailer, even tent camping.
6.Playing game in any condition with any game console.
7.Used for presentation, but not those boring office ones, but just everything you'll need to share or want to show for fun or for business.
8.Showing those funny movies of your kids or pets to anyone, anywhere...
I can continue, but you've got the point. All the above is well worth the money and will provide a lot more fun than standard mediocre full sized projector.
